The mission of the CKR Center is to provide professional support for the preservation of cultural heritage by nurturing high standards and ethics in the fields of conservation and restoration, and promoting the importance and value of caring for cultural heritage. The idea that guided the founders of CKR is to organize comprehensive activities to improve professional standards and promote conservation and restoration in one place – where knowledge and experience in these fields from the country and abroad will be systematically and continuously collected and improved.

The scope of CKR’s work also includes the provision of professional services, which include preventive care and protection of cultural assets and the performance of conservation and restoration works by engaging renowned experts utilizing specialized equipment. A special segment in the Center’s work is the efficient documentation of data on cultural assets, organizing education and practice in conservation and restoration, and presenting the value and importance of cultural heritage to the widest public.
